Adding gateways

Gateways connect various devices with Scout.

Go to the Gateways tab in your project and add the gateway by entering its unique identifier (ClaimID), available in the gateway’s web server under Settings > Scout.

To add a specific device, go to the Hierarchy tab in your location, change the option to Add by ID, and select it from the available devices dropdown list.

Note: You can add devices from the same gateway to different locations.
